Otter Baby III

Otter Baby III is for fearless toddlers and a parent. After establishing at 7 second breath count, comfort with both teacher and parent, and a few independent safety skills, our most advanced 2 year olds are invited into this level.

Together with their parent, the child expands their breath control and is introduced to independent swimming and floating. Safety skills are also taught and reinforced during this class.

Toddlers must complete at least 6 months of Otter Baby I or II and have their instructor’s authorization before enrolling into this class. Each child is accompanied by an adult in the pool. The teaching ratio is 6 babies and parents with 1 instructor.

Otter Baby III Class Schedule

Tuition is $70 a month for a half hour class once per week. If you want to attend 2 classes per week the tuition is $135 a month. We also offer sibling discounts. The first child is $70 per month and each additional child is $65 per month. There is a $35 annual registration fee per family. We ask for a 2 month commitment for a new family and after that you may withdraw with a 30 day written notice. No spaces are guaranteed until you register online and receive an email confirming that you have enrolled in a class, or you enroll at the swim school in-person. We do not have ‘sessions’, so classes are on-going and you may start your child’s classes at any time that we have an opening that fits your schedule.

If your child in enrolled in this class they are required to wear a permanent, re-usable swim diaper. We have them available for sale at our facility. We require that whatever you use have snug elastic around the leg and around the waist.

If you see a class below that has no openings, (shows a full in the “Openings” column below) we will be happy to add you to a wait list for that particular class. Simply click on the words “Wait List” at the far left of the listing and you can be automatically added to that class wait list. If nothing appears there, the class AND the wait list are full. Please limit your wait list applications to one class so we are able to get your child into a class more quickly. Thanks!
