4 and 5 Year Olds without parents

This class is for our intermediate 4 and 5 year olds who pass out of our beginner classes. Because it is taught as a dual level class (Purple Parrot I and II), A LOT of skills must be mastered to pass out of this class.

As an intermediate class, the focus is on independence and breath control in the water while extending the swim distance and developing the coordination to gain independent breaths while swimming.

• Prerequisite: Swims 5 feet, comfortable face-float and back-float
• Final Goals: Independent front float and back-float, face-glide, swim 20 feet with an independent rollover breath, windmill arms, and back kicks

Purple Parrot Fish Class Schedule

Tuition is $70 a month for a half hour class once per week. If you want to attend 2 classes per week the tuition is $135 a month. We also offer sibling discounts. The first child is $70 per month and each additional child is $65 per month. There is a $35 annual registration fee per family. We ask for a 2 month commitment for a new family and after that you may withdraw with a 30 day written notice. No spaces are guaranteed until you register online and receive an email confirming that you have enrolled in a class, or you enroll at the swim school in-person. We do not have ‘sessions’, so classes are on-going and you may start your child’s classes at any time that we have an opening that fits your schedule.

If you see a class below that has no openings, (shows a full in the “Openings” column below) we will be happy to add you to a wait list for that particular class. Simply click on the words “Wait List” at the far left of the listing and you can be automatically added to that class wait list. If nothing appears there, the class AND the wait list are full. Please limit your wait list applications to one class so we are able to get your child into a class more quickly. Thanks!
